Happy 4th of July! Also known as Independence Day in the United States.
I learned a valuable lesson this week, and I wanted to share it with you today. I learned that as a business owner, I don't need permission to do things, to test new ideas. So I realized I was looking for permission from my co-founder, but he hadn't done to give, just take an idea and run with it. I was just too scared. I was looking for validation and permission that might be able to be a hundred percent successful before I could undertake it, which is impossible to know until you start implementing the idea.
For business owners, you don't always have to have everything a hundred percent validated before proceeding. But yeah, so I want to let you know that you don't always have to have a hundred percent validation and permission before you proceed with your idea, but that's when her mom or society your boss. (I would check in with your boss). But you're not going to have that a hundred percent confidence that you're looking for before you started implementing that idea.
And I also want to encourage you to pursue your ideas and your dreams, whether that's a new marketing campaign that you're thinking about or starting a whole new business. I met one of our business partners on Wednesday, and the most important gift he gave to me was encouragement. So thank you, my friend, and happy 4th of July.
