On Our Working from Home series, tip number two is checking your internet bandwidth. Now we will be doing much work from home, but we will also be doing many meetings as well. That could use much bandwidth on your internet if you are not careful.
Now before we run the internet speed test, let’s look at the system requirements for Zoom for one-to-one video calling and group calling.

So let’s see, what’s the speed test for what our internet is? Let’s run the speed test. So right now, we’re getting 20-30 megabytes going faster. So 44 megabytes download and 97 megabits upload.
Our latency is 25 milliseconds. Our internet is pretty fast. That’s just doing some checking with your Internet Service Provider to make sure you can have those video calls when you need to. So call your ISP after your internet speed test. See if you need to up your internet speed for at least the next few months until after the pandemic.
